Please join us to learn the deeply meditative sitting, standing,
lying down, or moving forms of Zhineng Qigong. This type
of Qigong focuses on the mind, body, and the spirit as one,
helping the practitioner to heal on all three levels, which
is necessary for real, long-term healing. Zhineng Qigong
works with the energy field of the group, creating a very
strong energy field that greatly speeds up the healing process.
At this workshop we will also learn how to gather more energy,
to unblock congested areas of energy, how to conserve our
energy, to find emotional balance through the 5 organs and
through changing our daily mental and emotional habits that
don?t contribute to our health.
The following will be taught:
-Lift Qi Up, Pour Qi Down -
This is a moving meditation to gather healing Qi and to release
unhealthy Qi.
-La Qi - This is a sitting
mediation also teaching gathering and releasing, but also
how to increase the physical awareness of Qi How we can change
our emotional reactions to life's difficulties through a
change in habits, as well by experiencing life on an energetic
level.
-Crane's neck - a movement
of the neck that opens the Qi, helping relieve sinus problems,
allergies, and general tension.
-Chen Qi -a movement of the
shoulder blades (which we never move) to open the Qi flow
throughout the body and to accelerate healing from many illnesses.
There will be a 45 minute lunch break. Please
bring your own lunch and water bottle. It is important to
not eat a heavy meal, and to eat healthy foods. We will provide
hot teas, apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, cheese and crackers
for snacks. If you are working on becoming more healthy or
if you have a serious illness, please come and experience
this practice that has been so effective in China, and more
recently in the U.S.
To register, please call 812-923-7661
